This morning it started out clear, but as soon as I finished my sketch it became fully overcast, making imaging impossible. In the afternoon the skies cleared again, so I decided to make a new sketch, now with accompanying image. During the sketching we had some 50% cumuli. Transparency in between was excellent, but the scintillation monitor reported mediocre to poor seeing. I made the following observation:
