Figure 1: Comet C/2020 V2 (ZTF) as imaged with the Esprit 150ED on 09/02/23 20:57UTC.
Comet C/2022 V2 (ZTF) was imaged on 9 February 2020 around 20:57UTC. Taken with the SkyWatcher Esprit 150ED, ZWO EFW with ZWO LRGB filters and ZWO ASI1600MM Pro Cool, a total of 100 subs were collected:
L : 40 x 30s
R : 20 x 30s
G : 20 x 30s
B : 20 x 30s
In total 45 minutes data.
The comet was at the time of capture halfway between Andromeda and Cassiopeia, roughly on the line through Almach (in Andromeda) and Navi (in Cassiopeia). Its distance to Earth was about 2.3AU (350 million kilometres).
Processing was done as explained at C/2022 E3 (ZTF).
The original is here and a trailing-stars version can be found here.
