Geodetic Sextants

In my collection there are two geodetic sextants; one C. Plath and one by Observator. These type of sextants were used for surveying purposes, not for navigation. For this they quite often lack their shades. As in the Netherlands the centesimal system (400 divisions in a whole circle) is commonplace among surveyors, these geodetic sextants are divided accordingly.

If you have any questions and/or remarks please let me know.
